Blog Every Day in May - Blog 6 - Bank Holiday Fun

This weekend has been pretty damn perfect, if you ask me. Of course the glorious weather has helped.

I started with a Saturday of chores to get them out of the way, did several loads of washing, ordered the groceries, wrote a blog that's been hanging over me, went to the gym and caught up on various emails. Yesterday we spent five hours giving the garden its first cut back and tidy since last February. It was long overdue and I now won't be embarrassed by visitors looking out of the window.

As for today, my aim was to have a relaxing day enjoying the sun and today it's all gone to plan. I've uploaded a few photos to show how my day panned out.

I booked us a holiday, as we're both desperate for a break from work.

I tried out my hair styler which I've had for ages, but not taken out of the box before.

I sat in the sun and wrote a blog, with my washing fluttering on the line.

Andrew assembled the hammock which his sister had given him for his birthday...

... it's soooo comfortable!

And we finished with a barbecue for tea. Perfect!
